  1. I believe that academic integrity means to be confident in the work that you hand in. You should take pride in the work you have done. It also means to do your best on your work while doing it alone without help or cheating. Having academic integrity means you complete all of the work as hard as you can and turn it in on time. You should take up to it if you don't do your homework; do not cheat for the extra points. It is very important for the future to have academic integrity. If you get into the routine of cheating and copying, you will get stuck and get in trouble in the future.

  3. I think of academic integrity as how honestly and pridefully you do your work.Such as if provided with the chance to cheat, to not do it and, even if answer wrong, still doing it honestly and without wrongfully obtaining the answer. The other is how much pride you have in your own work, for example even though you might not be 100% sure of you work you still take pride in it and use it confidently, or by making your work actually be your work, by not giving or getting answers from others or copying it from an internet source or book.

  4. Academic integrity to me means to do your own work, take time to make your work neat and organized. It also actually shows that there was a lot of time and effort put into it. It also helps me know what I need to work on and what I am ok with instead of copying work and being confused or unsure of something.

  6. Academic integrity is to not cheat, but to be honest with your work. It's important to use your own words and to not use other people's work. If needing to use someone Else's words thought, make sure to give them proper credit, and not to say its your own work.

  8. To me, academic integrity means a student does his or her own work and to have pride in it. For example, a student does not cheat or copy in any way at all from anything as big as a test or as small as a five point homework. In addition to doing his or her own work, a student is proud of that work. The student knows that the best work is done to the full potential and is the best work possible.

  9. Academic integrity is to be a truthful student to not only yourself but to other students as well, and to be honest with your work. Also that academic integrity will affect a student not only in class but in the outside world and help them to be a better person. Academic integrity is not to just search for the answers, but be confident enough in your own work to hand in. Also academic integrity is having respect for others and not always looking to cheat off of others work.

  10. Academic integrity means honestly completing your work. If a project is a collaborative project, then it should be collaborated on, and if it is independent work, it should be done independently. This also includes the prevention of cheating. If someone has the chance to cheat, he or she should not take advantage of it. Also, people must take pride in their work and confidently hand it in, despite some uncertainties. This is important because, if people get caught in detrimental routines, they will most likely continue these, which can be harmful later in life. It helps people demonstrate their knowledge rather than taking that of others.

  11. To me, academic integrity is doing your own work and putting forth your best effort. Having it means you do not cheat, you try hard, and when in a group, you do your share of the work. You have to be honest with yourself if you are trying your best, and if not how can you.

  12. I believe that academic integrity is important because it keeps you and your grades honest. Academic integrity is doing the work you were assigned on your own and not trying to get all of your answers from another classmate. It also allows you to see how well you know the topics and what you need to work on because getting answers from other classmates won't help you prepare for the tests. Academic integrity is also important because it is allows for a much fairer competition between you and your classmates and grades and how hard you have worked to earn them.

  13. Academic integrity is owning up to what the person did whether that was cheating on a test or simply receiving a bad grade of his/her own volition. It is being able to know for a fact that the grade the person got is the grade that person deserved. It is important because it gives everyone an equal chance at getting the best grade while putting in the necessary amount of effort. It also allows one to feel the pride in knowing that their grade is their grade and not someone else's.

  14. Academic integrity is crucial for a productive and healthy learning environment. To me, academic integrity is to not pass others work as your own and to use your own thoughts and ideas. It is extremely important because you will never fully grasp the content in the classroom if you are continuously cheating off of your peers. Without academic integrity, students do not receive the grade that they truly deserve.

  15. Academic integrity conveys that one should be honest to themselves and to others when completing an assignment. If a person is doing an assignment, he or she should not copy off of his or her friend's work. This does not epitomize academic integrity because the person who copied the assignment is not learning; when, in fact, he or she is just getting the answers. On the other hand, the person who allowed his or her friend to copy is letting his or her friend to get the same grade without doing any work. Obviously, the neither of the people take pride in their work. If one is not show honesty or pride in their work, then one cannot learn, and it will be detrimental for one's future.
