HQ- Politics and unrest in Egypt
Which events led up to the political unrest in Egypt? Which events were the results of the Islamist unrest in Egypt?
Both of your historical questions are good, but you should choose one. I thought that the second question was more specific, and it would allow you to decrease the scope of your paper. On a side note, you should change "Islamist" to Islamic in your question.
I would recommend either picking political unrest or Islamic unrest because at the moment you are asking two questions. I would probably pick the question that seems to be easier to find information for. Other than that, they are general enough to be good questions.
Jack & Srini both provided useful feedback. You may want to investigate the role of Islamists in the "new" Egypt. This would require you to research the reasons for the fall of the Mubarak regime, the role of the Muslim Brotherhood and Morsi, and the current military leadership.
